Rangers fighting to keep hold of Arsenal, Man Utd target Wylie

Rangers are offering new terms to teenage defender Jack Wylie.

Wylie, has caught the eyes of English big guns Arsenal and Manchester United following his recent form for the Light Blues' youth sides and Scotland Under-16s.

The 15-year-old full-back has been watched regularly by the two clubs and the Gunners even sent chief youth scout Lee Herron to keep an eye on him during Scotland U16s' double header with Denmark in September.

Wylie - who doesn't turn 16 until January - isn't eligible to sign his professional forms until his birthday.

And Ibrox bosses are desperate to keep a hold of him after losing highly-rated striker Rory Wilson over the summer.

Rangers accepted a £350,000 bid from Aston Villa earlier this year after Steven Gerrard swooped in for the starlet following his impressive form at youth level, says the Scottish Sun.
