Rangers face Norwich competition for Liverpool midfielder Wilson

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard faces competition to land Liverpool midfielder Harry Wilson.

The Mirror says Wilson could be set for a loan move from Liverpool to Norwich City after previously being linked with Rangers.

Norwich's transfer policy has taken a bit of a change in recent years with sporting director Stuart Webber choosing to consolidate the club's financial position. It means the Canaries are now looking for more value in the market and Wilson provides exactly that given that he is available for loan with a cheap wage package.

An impressive loan stint with Hull City last season has the Ibrox side, as well as a number of Championship clubs, on alert. Gerrard will be hoping that his Liverpool connections can perhaps persuade the youngster to head north of the border instead of heading to Norfolk.
