Rangers determined to keep hold of Leeds target Ryan Kent

Rangers are determined to keep hold of Leeds United target Ryan Kent.

The Daily Star says Gers are planning to offer Kent an improved contract to fend off interest from Leeds United.

United are understood to have failed with a bid worth £10million plus add-ons for Kent, who has made it clear he wants to stay at Ibrox.

The 23-year-old completed a permanent £6million move to Gers last year, having spent the 2018/19 campaign with them on loan from Liverpool.

He registered eight goals and four assists in 34 outings for Steven Gerrard's side last term, thus attracting the attention of new Premier League outfit Leeds.
