Rangers are chasing released Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.

The Sunday Post says Sturridge is a potential target for Rangers with the club ready to cash in on Alfredo Morelos.

The Colombian bagged 30 goals for Steven Gerrard's side last season and has made no secret of his desire to play in England.

The Ibrox club will let the 22-year-old leave for an offer in excess of £20million.

He was linked with a move to Crystal Palace last week but Rangers booted out suggestions the Eagles had made an approach.

And it's claimed former Liverpool star Sturridge is among Gerrard's top targets if Morelos departs.
