Boss Walter Smith paid tribute to Kris Boyd after he crashed through the 150-goal barrier in the SPL against Falkirk in Rangers' 3-1 win. The manager was delighted with Boyd's contribution and admits he's a player bang on form at the moment, with seven strikes coming in his last seven outings.
Smith told the club's official website: "It's fantastic for Kris that he has got beyond that landmark now. His goals were good but he played well too.
"A lot of the time we got on at him about how his build-up and support play is all part and parcel of the game.
"He has been doing a lot more of that recently and we're happy with that as long as it doesn't affect his number of goals.
"That doesn't seem to be the case and his two goals this afternoon were both good ones from him."
