Rangers boss Steven Gerrard says he'll never break his bond with Liverpool.

Gerrard may have moved on to embark on his first managerial role at Rangers but his bond with the Kop is unbreakable.

“It will always be 'we' for me," he said.

“I am a Liverpool fan. I still have great relationships with a lot of people there.

“I am desperate to get back to watch a game because I haven't had the opportunity yet.

"Liverpool will be in my life until the day I go. But there's been an opening at another club and my heart is at Rangers at the moment. I want to deliver there but Liverpool will always be 'we' for me."
