Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is moving for Liverpool winger Ryan Kent.

The Scottish Herald says Gerrard is set to clinch his tenth signing of the summer as Kent edges closer to a loan switch to Ibrox.

Former Anfield Under-18s boss Gerrard has already returned to Merseyside and completed a move for Reds midfielder Ovie Ejaria after he penned a deal until the end of the campaign.

And Kent is now on course to follow him across the border and sign on the dotted line with the Ibrox club.

The 21-year-old has had spells at Coventry City, Barnsley, SC Freiburg and Bristol City in recent years as he has gained vital first-team experience.
