Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is pushing to strengthen his team with the captures of Bournemouth duo Jack Simpson and Nnamdi Ofoborh.
The two are in-demand from clubs in the Championship as well.
Simpson is someone Gerrard has liked for sometime, per Sky Sports, but Cardiff City have also put in an offer for him.
Ofoborh is also wanted by Charlton, but they may not be realistic contenders for his signature.
Rangers are 20 points ahead of Celtic in the Scottish Premiership this season, having played two more games.
