Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is desperate to extend the stay of on-loan Liverpool winger Ryan Kent.

Gerrard wants Kent back at Rangers next season but is not sure where Liverpool stand regarding the player's future.

“I don't know what Liverpool value Ryan at," Gerrard said.

“I don't even know if Liverpool want to sell him or not.

“The only question I can answer on Ryan Kent is, 'Do I want him back next year?' – and the answer to that question is, 'Yes, more than anyone'."
