The Icelander has been superb since his arrival from Tottenham.
Spanish right back Rangel, 31, said: "Michu is more of a striker. Gylfi is more of a creative player, who helps the players around him to play even better.
"He can combine a goal with an assist, which makes him a team player and that's helping everybody.
"We've no complaints at all. You can see why in his numbers.
"The amount of assists he's had this season is incredible.
"And the stats also show he runs more than anybody almost every game.
"But the most important thing is he's humble.
"He doesn't get carried away. That's what makes him a top player."
