Randolph intent on staying sharp as West Ham look ahead to FA Cup replay

Darren Randolph has highlighted the importance of producing his best whenever he is called on by West Ham United.

The Republic of Ireland international was key in the Hammers' 0-0 draw with Liverpool in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Anfield on Saturday when given a rare start in front of Adrian.

28-year-old Randolph has performed well in his eight appearances this season, keeping six clean sheets, and knows he must continue to produce in any match Slaven Bilic gives him a chance so he can put his best foot forward for a starting spot at Euro2016.

Regarding the FA Cup replay as well, Randolph is confident West Ham can get the better of the Reds when they visit Upton Park on February 9.

"Whenever I get a game, I have to show what I can do. And our defence is so good that it's easy to step back into the team — it's been that way most of the season," he said.

"There's a lot to play for in the second half of the season, with the club well placed and the European Championship with Ireland. I have to stay as sharp as I can.

"Favourites for the replay? I'd say so.

"We feel confident going up against anyone at home now."
