Arsenal have announced that Aaron Ramsey will succeed outgoing club captain Mikel Arteta as the new No.8 at the Emirates.
The Welsh international has worn 16 since his arrival at the Emirates in 2008 but will now switch shirt numbers following Arteta's departure from the club.
