QPR boss Chris Ramsey is all but resigned to losing Premier League targets Charlie Austin and Leroy Fer this summer.
Austin has been linked with moves to West Ham United, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace following QPR's relegation to the Championship, while Fer is reportedly also the subject of interest from top-flight clubs with Sunderland believed to be leading the race.
Ramsey told BBC London 94.9 he feels it is inevitable the duo will be sold, but hopes to have both players available for Saturday's Championship opener against Charlton Athletic if they are still at the club.
"We know it's a financial situation where the players, given the right offer, will probably go," Ramsey said.
"Selfishly, I hope nobody comes in for them. Whoever's in the building and can help needs to be on hand. "What is happening is that the players are training very hard to get fit for the beginning of the season and if they're fit they'll feature."
