Ramsdale hails Arsenal signing 'hungry and young' players - including Gabriel Jesus

England goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is hopeful that Arsenal will push to strengthen their squad even further.

The Gunners have added striker Gabriel Jesus and attacking midfielder Fabio Vieira to their squad, along with backup keeper Matt Turner.

They are also being linked with Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City.

"We're bringing in players who are hungry and young, like we did the previous summer," shot stopper Ramsdale told Sky Sports.

"But we're also bringing in winners as well, who have done it at this level. Everyone who's come in has raised the level and if anyone else can come in and raise it again, it's only going to benefit us."

Asked about Jesus specifically, he added: "He's a great guy, he chats with everyone and he always has a smile on his face.

"He's got amazing talent and he also knows how to win, so I've been trying to pick his brains.

"He's not going to change everything at this football club in terms of winning things, but if we can take 1% out of his mentality and how he plays then it's only going to benefit us."
