But Diario Gol says Ramos is proving a key influence in the battle for the young Spain international.

Spain captain Ramos has struck up a good friendship with Odriozola this year and has been working on him about joining Madrid at the end of this season.

Indeed, it's suggested Ramos has spoken about Barca with Odriozola, urging him to resist the Catalans and to join him at Real Madrid.
