Ramires suggests Premier League and Champions League still attainable for Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Ramires believes that the Blues can still salvage their season by pushing for both the Premier League and Champions League titles.

At the moment, the Blues find themselves in the 16th spot in the league table after winning just three games out of their first twelve but Brazilian ace Ramires believes there is plenty of scope for improvement.

Ramires said: "When we won the Champions League in 2012, we were not doing well in the League. In fact, if we hadn't won the tournament we wouldn't have qualified for the next one, so we know the season is still open and after January, the Premier League becomes like a new competition.

"Our objective now is to retain our confidence and push for that top-four position. Once you get there, you can start speaking about other aims.

"But we are aiming to start winning games as soon as possible and getting involved at the top end of the table to see if we can push towards the title by the end of the season. As for the Champions League, that is still open. We have a lot to play for and will try our best to get a trophy by the end of the season."
