Ivan Rakitic has launched a furious attack on the Barcelona board after victory over Levante.

The Croatian was harsh in his criticism of the club for how they treated him and his former boss, Ernesto Valverde.

"I thought about leaving in the January window," Rakitic said after Barcelona's 2-1 win over Levante.

"The treatment of Valverde's staff wasn't the best.

"They were bad times but it's in the past now.

"I can say very clearly that there were things that I didn't like."
