Agent Mino Raiola has rejected reports of a bank-busting commission due should he find a new club for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

The cost of landing world football's hottest prospect is beginning to spiral, with claims Raiola is demanding €600,000-per-week in wages for the Borussia Dortmund star, as well as around €40million in agents fees.

But the 53-year-old has moved to rubbish those suggestions by dismissing the reports on social media.

"Fake news travels quick and far," he wrote on his Twitter account, accompanied by a video of several recent news articles.

Should the Bundesliga giants miss out on Champions League football next season, Haaland is almost certain to move on this year.

If they do qualify however, Haaland may stay put until 2022, when his £68m release clause can be activated.

Raiol was last week on a mini tour of Europe touting his client to potential suitors whilst in the company of Haaland's father, Alfe-Inge.

Barcelona and Real Madrid were the first pit stops on the trip, followed by several clubs in England, believed to include Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool, reports the Mirror.
