Baba Rahman's move to Chelsea seems to be edging closer, after a surge of bets in Germany that the deal will be completed.

The 21-year-old, who plies his trade for Bundesliga outfit Augsburg, will be a replacement for Filipe Luis, who is set to depart Stamford Bridge.

Glenn Woodage, of bookmakers Bwin, said: 'When we see a surge like this, we have to take notice. We saw similar movements for [Bastian] Schweinsteiger to Manchester United and with Filipe Luis seemingly on the way out, Baba at the Bridge would certainly make sense."
