Raheem Sterling demands massive pay-hike for Man City stay

Raheem Sterling is pushing for a massive pay-rise in new contract talks with Manchester City.

The Times says Sterling is targeting a £100,000-a-week pay rise as he eyes a new deal at the club.

The England attacker is settled with the Premier League champions but wants to see his weekly wage improved before committing to a new deal.

Sterling's current contract is due to expire in 2020 and given the club see him as one of their most valuable assets, the 23-year-old wants a new deal to match the club's desire to keep hold of him.

Sterling's current deal at the Etihad stadium sees him earn a basic wage of £175,000-a-week.
