Raheem Sterling has signed a new contract with Manchester City.

The midfielder has handed Manchester City a huge pre-derby boost by signing a new deal until 2023.

Sterling has committed his future to City with the new three-and-a-half year contract extension worth around £275,000-a-week.

"I'm delighted to sign," he said. "My development here has been incredible.

"I felt from the minute I got here it was the right choice for me. It's paid off and I'm really grateful."
