Former PSG star Eric Rabesandratana has welcomed the imminent appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as new coach.

The former Tottenham manager is expected to be soon confirmed as Thomas Tuchel's replacement at PSG.

Rabesandratana told France Bleu: "If I know his successor? Yes, I played with him. He was an interesting player for PSG. I really liked the person. Mauricio Pochettino, I remember him as a super nice guy, nice, very determined in everything he did. On the ground he was thorough.

"A very nice man. There was something reassuring and warm too. I hope he hasn't changed. In any case, I will be very happy to see him again. He has become a coach capable of making decisions. Tottenham turned out very well when he was a coach."
