Hull City's Stephen Quinn is set to sign for Reading on a free transfer

While Hull have allowed many of their first team players to leave the club following their relegation to the Championship, the Tigers were keen on keeping hold of midfielder Quinn and had offered him a two-year extension to his current deal at the KC Stadium.

However, Quinn had his heart set on a move away from Hull and has now all but sealed his exit from the club by signing a deal with Reading according to the Hull Daily Mail.

The Royals are said to have signed Quinn on a long-term deal and the Republic of Ireland international is set to formally announce his Tigers exit within the next 24 hours.
