Stephen Quinn says he wants to stay with Hull City.
With Quinn's existing contract at the KC Stadium due to expire at the end of this season, talks over a two-year extension are at an advanced stage.
"I wish I had (signed a new deal) but my agent is still in contact with the club. I'll leave that to him," said Quinn to the Hull Daily Mail. "They're still in negotiations but hopefully they'll come to some sort of conclusion and we'll get it signed.
"I haven't got much dealings with it. I'm not concentrating on it too much with the league position we're in. I have to think about this Christmas period and hopefully getting some game time under my belt to help get the club up the table.
"When I've played I'd like to think I've contributed. I haven't played as much as I'd like in the last couple of months, but I'd like to stake a claim now."
