Former Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz fears Cristiano Ronaldo's career could go off the rails at Real Madrid.
The Portugal coach, who had an unhappy time as Real manager, is deeply worried The Winker could be caught up in events away from the Bernabeu once he completes his switch.
Queiroz, who enjoyed two spells as assistant boss at United, said: "I have my opinion about my wish regarding the career of Cristiano - and I think Manchester United was the right club for him.
"It's something to do with the fashion, the television, a different game that is in place nowadays.
"I must say that at Real Madrid, these things can happen very easily."
