QPR midfielder Joey Barton has scored his first goal for loan club Olympique Marseille.

Barton's second-half corner kick for Marseille against Borussia Monchengladbach flew straight in to bring the Englishman his first goal for the French club.

The goal equalised Mike Hanke's early strike for the Germans in the UEFA Europa League tie at the Stade Velodrome.

Marseille thought they had won it when Jordan Ayew struck with 20 minutes left, but Juan Aranago's goal deep into stoppage time shared the spoils in Group C.
