QPR are wrapping up a loan deal for Newcastle United winger Wayne Routledge today.
The Evening Chronicle says Routledge looks set to sign for QPR until the end of the season.
The winger has been at St James' Park for 12 months and showed promise during the club's Championship title win.
QPR, Wigan and Cardiff City wanted to sign the winger but it looks like the promotion chasing R's that have won his signature.
