Former Arsenal striker Jay Emmanuel Thomas has denied signing for non-league Billericay Town.
He took to Instagram on Friday night to confirm he hasn't actually signed for the non-league side.
The forward vanished from the QPR first-team squad last season, when Ian Holloway was the manager, and director of football Les Ferdinand had to confirm he had lost his form, not died.
Ferdinand said in November: “JET is still alive, but as Ian alluded to there are criteria at the club that all of the players need to follow. If he doesn't follow it then he's not going to be part of Ian's first team.
“It's down to him to get where we need him to get to and if he gets there then he'll be part of it."
