The 27-year old last week signed a one-year contract extension with the R's after missing most of last season with a knee injury and he now wants to get back to his best as the Loftus Road outfit get set for the Premier League.
"I feel I've got a point to prove," he told www.qpr.co.uk.
"I feel I've still got a lot to offer this Football Club.
"It's not going to be easy and - after missing so much of last season - I'll probably be towards the back of the queue, but I'm confident I can earn a place in the gaffer's 25 man squad."
Ramage continued: "When I left Newcastle to join QPR I always dreamed of returning to the Premier League and now we've done it, I can't wait to be part of it.
"The buzz of the Premier League is massive and as players, you want to be involved - that's why you play the game you love."
