QPR winger Lee Cook has rejoined Charlton Athletic on loan.
The 29-year old last played with the Addicks in 2008 alongside current manager Chris Powell who has brought him back for a second spell at The Valley following the injury to skipper Johnnie Jackson.
"But that's well in the past. What he is now is a left-sider and a natural left-footer who wants to deliver. He has good quality and has got an eye for goal as well.
"I'm just trying to get the balance of our squad right. Johnnie Jackson has been outstanding for us on the left but he has had one or two knocks. We have to make sure we are okay in that area at this vital time for everyone.""I was a player the last time Lee was here and it was admittedly a mixed time for him and the club," Powell told the club's official website.
Cook has been frozen out at Loftus Road and now heads away from West London for his second loan spell of the campaign following his short-term stay with Leyton Orient.
