QPR remain hopeful of signing Manchester United defender Richard Eckersley.
The People says Rangers would like to take Eckersley, 20, on loan for the season.
Eckersley has to sign a new deal at United first before he can go. The defender wants regular football and Fergie will let him go if he commits to a long-term deal at United.
