QPR push to sign Fulham defender Hangeland

QPR are hoping to soon close a deal for released Fulham defender Brede Hangeland.

The Daily Mail says Hoops boss Harry Redknapp is keen to strengthen his squad after replacing their west London rivals in the top flight.

And the Loftus Road chief wants to add the 33-year-old to his ranks for the forthcoming campaign.

Redknapp has already agreed a deal for former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand, who will take a massive pay cut to be reunited with his former West Ham United manager.
