QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt says he wants to return to Serie A.

Taarabt had six months on-loan with AC Milan last season and has struggled with his fitness since returning to the Rs.

"I miss Italy and Serie A. I am in London and I hope in January to return. Everyone tells me that English football is better, but I really like Italy," said Taarabt.

"Inter Milan? I do not know, I played in Milan and it would not please the fans, but I'm a professional.

"Overweight? As you can see (laughs) this is not true, I train and I'm fit.

"A pay-cut? Yes, I will do that to return to Milan."
