QPR midfielder Leroy Fer believes the team has to try and reduce their amount of errors if they want to improve results.
The R's were beaten 3-1 by Everton at Goodison Park on Monday night after deflected efforts from Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas before Steven Naismith headed home early in the second half.
Bobby Zamora pulled one back with ten minutes remaining but it was not enough as the R's crashed to their eighth straight away defeat, prompting the following comments from Holland international Fer.
"Our own mistakes cost us two goals in the first half and this is something we have to learn from," he told the club's official website.
"In the next game, we have to change this and try to do better.
"We tried to play football, good football, but our mistakes cost us and that's frustrating."
QPR, who currently sit one point from safety, next take on West Bromwich Albion at Loftus Road on Saturday.
