QPR near loan deal for Brighton striker Hemed

QPR are close to signing Brighton striker Tomer Hemed.

Sky Sports claim the Israeli will sign for Rangers on a season-long loan deal.

The 31-year-old is not in Chris Hughton's plans for the season and is being allowed to leave.

The striker joined Brighton in 2015 and scored 30 goals in 73 Championship starts.

Steve Maclaren's Rangers are currently bottom of the Championship table after losing their first three matches of the season.
