QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin says his injury woes have made him stronger.
Faurlin is determined not to dwell on the past.
"It was a horrible feeling," he told the London Evening Standard. "I want to be out there on the pitch and I never had injuries to my knees before. I hate to be out. I feel stronger than ever now. This kind of injury makes you realise the reality of things and makes you stronger in so many different ways. I've never been a sad player who needs confidence.
"I feel confident in myself and feel strong always, but now more than ever. I just look forward and am really excited about the season.
"We are in 2014 and many players get these injuries and it's a big injury but if you do the right things and work really hard you can have the rewards. Now you see me out there running like a boy. It feels nice to be back."
