ChampionshipQueens Park Rangers have signed defender James Perch from League One Wigan for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old, who made 42 appearances for the Latics last season, has agreed a three-year contract at Loftus Road.
"James is a proven Championship performer, with great versatility across a number of positions," R's boss Chris Ramsey told the club website.
"He'll be a real asset for us and will add experience to a young squad."
"We know we're quite light on numbers in the defensive third of the pitch, so James's arrival is welcome," said Rangers director of football Les Ferdinand.
"He's got a wealth of Premier League and Championship experience, he's in the prime of his career, and he ticks all the boxes in terms of his quality and character."
