QPR chairman Tony Fernandes is convinced they can have a successful season ahead.
The Malaysian multi-millionaire has already provided the funds to bring in Rob Green, Samba Diakite, Ryan Nelsen, Andy Johnson and Fabio on loan from Manchester United.
He told The Sun: "In F1 I know my team has got a long way to go.
"But in football I know with a couple of good signings and a little bit of luck we can maybe move up the table."
