Harry Redknapp was also asked about the future of QPR's mercurial forward Adel Taarabt, who has been a peripheral figure for much of the season but has featured in their last two Premier League fixtures. The 25-year-old spent time on loan at Milan last season and Sky sources are reporting Torino have made an approach to sign the player on a permanent deal.
But Redknapp said: "We have not heard anything and he is ill again, unfortunately, this week. He has been laid low quite a bit this year but hopefully he will be back in training next week.
"I have not heard anything, no one has contacted the club about Adel."
