QPR boss Redknapp fast losing support inside boardroom

QPR boss Harry Redknapp's future is in the balance.

The Mirror says Redknapp's future as Queens Park Rangers manager in the balance - with a growing belief he could be sacked if his side are beaten by Manchester United on Saturday.

Club insiders admit defeats by League OneSheffield United in the FA Cup and by relegation rivals Burnley have put Redknapp under increasing internal pressure.

Redknapp was already facing the prospect of a frustrating January transfer window, with the Rangers board vetoing a move to sign Jermain Defoe from Major League Soccer side Toronto FC.

And it is believed Rangers' directors are advising owner Tony Fernandes to consider a managerial change.
