QPR boss Harry Redknapp has admitted interest in Hamburg SV midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.

The Dutch playmaker worked with Redknapp at Tottenham.

"He is capable of ten, twelve goals a season. I like Rafa," said Redknapp.

"He is an interesting player, has class."

Van der Vaart faces playing in the German Second Division next season, unless he gets a move away.
