QPR boss Chris Ramsey admits skipper Joey Barton needs to address his temper after dismissal in defeat to Hull City.
Barton was shown the ninth red card of his controversial career after hitting Hull's Tom Huddlestone in the groin in Saturday's 2-1 defeat.
Asked if Barton needs help to curb his temper, Ramsey said: "It's something I would discuss with the player and see what he's open to and wanted to do.
"The medical staff are very good here so I'm sure a whole range of things have been discussed with him in his career about different things.
"He's quite an intelligent lad and I'm sure he would be open to anything that he thought could help him.
"I wouldn't push anything his way. We'll have a discussion in the cold light of day away from this incident and see where we go next."
