Pulis keen to send Stoke fringe players to Port Vale

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is keen to loan his young players to Micky Adams' Port Vale next season.

Pulis told The Sentinel: "I've got a lot of time and respect for Micky, so it goes without saying I wish him well in his new job across the road at Vale.

"If I can help him, and it suits us to do it, I will look into the possibility of letting him have a player or two. But I've got to be honest and say it's more likely to be a youngster than an established player.

"With all due respect, it wouldn't say a lot about me as a manager if I bought in a senior pro and then loaned him out into the lower leagues.

"But Vale could be ideal for blooding one or two youngsters, if Micky fancies them, and I'd be more than happy to help out as best I can."
