Pulis again warns Chelsea off Begovic: Stoke not selling club

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has again declared Asmir Begovic is not for sale.

Pulis has issued his firmest statement yet to the likes of Chelsea ahead of the January transfer window.

"Asmir is not going anywhere.

"We paid £3m to Portsmouth for Asmir and bought him because we thought he would be a good goalkeeper in the development of this football club.

"If people do come in with offers, we're not in a position like Bolton, no disrespect, where they have to listen because of the financial position they are in.

"Asmir has done well, but he's got to realise that Thomas Sorensen has had two good seasons for us, so he's got to carry on playing well for us to keep his place.

"You want people to have confidence, but also have people pushing them."
