Daniel Pudil is set to join Watford teammate Almen Abdi at Sheffield Wednesday.

The Mirror says Wednesday are closing in on Watford duo Abdi and Pudil.

Midfielder Abdi completed a medical at Hillsborough last night and is expected to be announced as an Owl today after the clubs agreed a £3million fee.

Left-back Pudil starred for Wednesday on loan last season and posted a cryptic tweet suggesting he could be back on his way to South Yorkshire amid reports a deal with the Hornets was edging closer.
