PSV Eindhoven defender Dirk Marcellis is calm over the interest of Everton.

The youngster is aware Everton are keen on him, but insists he wants to hear from PSV about a new contract before considering his options.

"A few weeks ago we had a meeting with PSV," said Marcellis. "It was a little rough, but negotiations will continue.

"I've heard about the interest of Everton, I don't know where it came from, but I know about it."
