PSV Eindhoven are set to close a deal for Everton centre-half Jarrad Branthwaite before the January transfer window closes.
The 20-year old, who cost Everton just £1million from Carlisle, has impressed staff at the Dutch club while on loan and sporting director Marcel Brands wants to make the move permanent.
The 6ft 5ins left sided defender has also attracted attention from Roma and Manchester City scouts during his time with PSV playing in the Dutch league and in Europe, says the Daily Mail.
Everton need funds to bring in new players and to bolster their diminishing chances of staying up.
Branthwaite remains in contract until the summer of 2025, but it could make sense to sell while the youngster is highly-valued, just incase they suffer relegation to the Championship.
