PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet admits he rejected an offer from Newcastle United over the summer.
Zoet was watched extensively by Newcastle last season and has confirmed a firm bid was tabled.
"There was an offer, but I turned it down myself," Zoet told Elf Voetbal.
"Leaving at this time is not in my schedule."
Zoet, 23, is pushing for a first cap with Holland this season.
