PSV Eindhoven have expressed interest in Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld.

De Telegraaf says PSV have made contact with Alderweireld's management team about a summer return to Holland.

And despite his past ties with Ajax, Alderweireld is open to the prospect.

Alderweireld, who will turn 32 in March, has a contract with Spurs to 2023.

In the conversation with his agents, it was relayed by PSV that outside sponsors would be sought to help cover his personal terms should the Belgian be willing to make the move.
