PSV defender Branthwaite reveals Everton plans

PSV Eindhoven's on-loan Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite admits he will be heading back to the Toffees in the summer.

Fans of the Dutch club and manager Ruud van Nistelrooy had been hoping to secure Branthwaite permanently.

However, the 20-year-old admits he is likely heading back to his parent club as he discusses his future when the season concludes.

"That was just after he signed with the club [Toffees boss Sean Dyche contacting him]. He especially wanted to introduce himself and asked me how I am doing and how things are here at PSV. It was a personal conversation, which I really appreciate," he said in an interview with Dutch outlet NOS.

He added: "I am open to something in Eindhoven. But I am under contract with Everton, which is also a fantastic club. I will go back there after this season and we will see what my decision will be."
